With the 76 cm and 137 cm VersaUV LEC printer / cutter, you can easily create vibrant prototypes and short runs on a variety of real printing surfaces, in a continuous workflow. Flexible bags material. Foldable boxes. Pressure sensitive labels. Transparent material. CMYK. White, Varnish, Relief, Cut and Cut. All with a single device.

One device, unlimited possibilities

From roll card to cardboard, VersaUV offers detailed image quality at resolutions up to 1440 dpi. Print flawless graphics and text with vibrant Roland Eco-UV inks, including CMYK, white and clear varnish for outstanding special effects ranging from gloss or matte finish to custom textures and embossing simulation. In addition, the VersaUV LEC also allows you to automatically cut any size and shape for unmatched versatility.

Materials matter

Low heat UV LED curing lamps allow VersaUV to handle a wide range of printing surfaces, including sheets, BOPP, PE, PET film, and transparent and metallic material. In addition, you can print directly on synthetic and natural leathers, window coverings, fabrics and other special materials. VersaUV includes an outline for printing on semi-rigid sheets, such as cardboards and polycarbonates up to 1mm thick.

Packaging prototyping made easy

Whether it is a label, box, bag or sleeve, packaging customers require proof of concept before moving on with the production of the job. But printing, even a single offset proof, can be costly in terms of time and money. Traditional testing devices are limited in materials in which they can reproduce materials and special effects, and require time-consuming manual processes for marking and cutting. The LEC series eliminates these problems and allows you to create dynamic and functional prototypes, personalized short runs from start to finish, on virtually any surface.

Three ink settings

The Roland DG allows you to choose the ink configuration that best suits your business. The standard CMYK + White + Transparent ink configuration can be used for the widest range of applications. The CMYK + White + White setting is ideal for printing opaque white on transparent film. The setting (CMYK + Gloss + Gloss) is ideal for resin or embossing effects. In the last ink combination mentioned, you can apply the transparent ink faster than in the standard configuration.

Software VersaWorks Dual

A redesigned RIP, VersaWorks Dual - included - features a new processor for better processing of files, including PDFs and other files with transparencies, plus the advanced, easy-to-use features that have always made VersaWorks, well, in VersaWorks DUAL.
